Expect Pacquiao vs Bradley to be exciting

Many boxing fans believes the upcoming June 9 clash between WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao and unbeaten junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley will be an even more exciting fight than the recent Floyd Mayweather vs Miguel Cotto bout. Even many boxing analysts believes Pacquiao’s style will make for a more exciting encounter that Mayweather’s unanimous decision victory over Cotto last May 5.

I think style-wise, this could be an even better match-up than the recent fight between Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto. Mayweather is exceptional defensively and makes you miss, but Manny Pacquiao is a lot more exciting and when you put him in with Timothy Bradley, style-wise, it makes for a great fight.

I’m expecting Pacquiao to come out with the victory, though I warn Pacquiao that he should not take Bradley lightly. Everyone is expecting Manny Pacquiao to blast Bradley out, but I don’t think it will be easy. I expect Manny to win, but it will be an exciting fight. Manny Pacquiao is the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world, and he goes into this fight as the favorite. But Timothy Bradley is a very slick and tidy boxer, so this isn’t going to be an easy fight for him.

Against Junior Witter, we saw how well-schooled Bradley was and how he was able to figure out his style so quickly, so I think he will cause Pacquiao some problems, I’m referring to Bradley’s split decision win over Witter in 2008, wherein he won the WBC light welterweight belt.

I’m also expecting Bradley to employ a style that will give Pacquiao trouble. Fighters who have a good defense and are counter punchers are those that have caused Pacquiao the most problems. I think Bradley is going to use his boxing ability and box on the back foot, and that’s where he’s going to cause a few problems.

But Bradley “will need to have more than just one game plan going into this fight. Bradley said Pacquiao will find himself “looking into a mirror” once they step into the ring on June 9. Even as he vows to end Pacquiao’s reign on top of the boxing world. The Pacquiao vs Bradley world title match will be held on MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
