The 25-year-old actress was spotted outside a salon in Los Angeles on March 8 with red hair, a tone closer to her natural hair color. A photo of the actress with her new 'do can be seen at US Weekly's site.
The actress has been a blonde since mid-2010 and before that, she had dark brown hair and a few shades in between. Lohan sported red hair at the beginning of her career in hit films like "The Parent Trap," "Freaky Friday" and "Mean Girls."
The actress' colorist, Tracey Cunningham, told Us Weekly, "She's been telling me for months that she wanted to go back to red, but she was just waiting for the right time."
Lohan hosted "Saturday Night Live" on March 3 and her episode scored the second highest ratings of the season. The actress also did an interview with "The Today Show" co-host Matt Lauer earlier that week in which she explained that she is done with partying and wants to make sure people know she's ready to work again.
Lohan said, "I still need to go through the process of proving myself, you know, with 'SNL,' being on time, being, you know, keeping my -- can't say the word but stuff together."
